Lightning Bolt

A Maliwan spell grenade that fires a straight lightning bolt, detonating on contact with a surface or enemy and chaining shock damage into nearby targets. Like the other spell grenades, it passively regenerates grenade ammo over time.

Chain Lightning is the upgraded counterpart. Its name nods to the Lightning Bolt spell from Dungeons & Dragons, while the red text references Back to the Future and the "1.21 gigawatts" line. It may also allude to a well-known early-2000s LARP clip.

While this grenade is equipped, Axton can occasionally shout "Lightning Bolt!", including when deploying his Sabre Turret.
