Magic Missile

A Maliwan spell grenade that releases homing projectiles which ricochet off surfaces and keep hunting for targets, including newly spawned enemies and uncloaked Stalkers. They detonate on contact or after enough travel, carry a wide blast that can still catch the user, and always apply slag. Like the other spell grenades, it also regenerates grenade ammo over time.

The purple version drops from Badass Wizards. Its combination of grenade regeneration, guaranteed slag, and strong homing makes it useful in a wide range of builds.

A common farm is the Badass Round of Magic Slaughter at Murderlin's Temple. You can also use the Sacrificial Altar to summon a Badass Wizard, though the drop is still rare. The name comes from the Dungeons & Dragons spell, and killing The Darkness with it can open the door behind that enemy to a Dice Chest.

With Magic Missile equipped, Axton may call out "Magic Missile!" when deploying his Sabre Turret.
