Magic Missile

A Maliwan spell grenade that releases homing child projectiles which ricochet off surfaces and can retarget newly spawned or newly revealed enemies. They detonate on impact or after enough travel, can still catch you in the blast, and always apply slag. Like the other spell grenades, it passively regenerates grenade ammo over time.

Badass Wizards can drop the purple-rarity version. Its homing, guaranteed slag, and built-in grenade regeneration make it broadly useful for slagging targets or finishing them off.

A reliable farm is the Badass Round of Magic Slaughter at Murderlin's Temple. You can also use the Sacrificial Altar to spawn a Badass Wizard, though the drop remains rare. The name comes from the Dungeons & Dragons spell, and killing The Darkness with it opens the door behind that enemy to a Dice Chest.

With Magic Missile equipped, Axton may shout "Magic Missile!" when deploying his Sabre Turret.
