A Vladof area grenade that creates a short-lived shock field on detonation and repeatedly zaps enemies within its radius. The lightning only targets enemies, not allies, which makes it useful in tight spaces and chokepoints where it can limit movement and chew through shields. Its arcs can even hit thrown buzz axes in flight, and when positioned above or below a shielded target they can bypass the shield entirely.

It drops randomly from standard loot sources.

It will not hit enemies while they are cloaked, but stripping their shields can force them to reveal themselves and can stop them from re-entering stealth. Its name references electrical engineer Nikola Tesla.
