A Torgue booster shield with an unusually high chance to spawn pickups when you take damage. Unlike most booster shields, its drops can also refill limited ammo, which makes it especially good for builds that burn through grenades and rockets.

That steady stream of boosters is valuable in solo play and gives co-op teams plenty of pickups to share.

It is especially strong against Pete the Invincible, since his persistent damage-over-time keeps triggering booster drops, easing pressure on the wearer and leaving more pickups for teammates.

It can spawn with hidden capacitor parts. Maliwan capacitors grant resistance to shock, corrosive, or incendiary damage, while a Torgue capacitor reduces explosive damage, and none of these add a visible prefix. Despite being a Torgue shield, it uses the visual model of a purple Dahl shield.
