An Anshin Seraph shield valued for its reliable defensive stats and its always-on damage reduction. That reduction helps blunt heavy incoming damage, including explosive hits and raid boss attacks, which makes Blockade one of the strongest pure defensive shields available.

Its damage reduction does not work the way the item card suggests. The reduction is a fixed percentage based on level and parts, and it still applies even when the shield is empty.

At the top end, the highest reduction achievable with Hyperion parts is about 45.7%, slightly below an optimized Antagonist at roughly 49%. It cannot spawn with Maliwan parts. Despite the Anshin branding, it uses a Hyperion-style model, does not grant the usual Anshin maximum-health bonus, and is the only Anshin shield that is not adaptive.
