A legendary Bandit roid shield built for melee-heavy play. Its huge recharge delay makes it easy to keep the shield empty, which lets the roid bonus stay active for long stretches. While empty, melee hits also trigger an explosive nova for extra damage.

It is especially strong on Zer0, works well with Gaige through Sharing is Caring, and fits shield-down setups such as Fleet or Mania. It offers almost no real protection, so reliable healing is important.

It is a Bandit shield with a Torgue-style explosive nova, and that nova can roll alongside other elemental resistances.

The Bandit Technical sawblade launcher counts as melee and can trigger the nova, though it also damages the vehicle. It is excellent for Roid Rage farming, and a low-level copy works well in low-level areas. The recharge delay is extreme, and taking damage refreshes it. To force a refill, you can briefly swap to a fast-recharging shield and then swap back. The nova benefits from grenade and explosive boosts, can hurt allies, and can also damage Gaige if Deathtrap is wearing the shield. It also has a distinctive yellow heart motif.
