Nova Shield

Nova shields detonate when their capacity hits zero, releasing an elemental burst around you that damages nearby enemies. They suit close-range builds that stay in the middle of the fight and can turn shield breaks into crowd damage or quick Second Wind setups.

A nova cannot trigger again until the shield has fully recharged, so recharge delay, recharge rate, and your ability to stay near enemies all determine how often it pays off.
