Turtle shields are Pangolin models that trade maximum health for a much larger shield pool. They suit characters who want more shielding and can offset the health loss with defensive skills, damage reduction, or careful positioning.

At higher levels, the reduced health often becomes the main drawback. They work best in builds that can restore, buffer, or otherwise compensate for the lower maximum health.
