A legendary Dahl booster shield that can launch an IED Booster toward the nearest enemy when you take damage. Once it lands, that booster emits timed volleys of arcing shock MIRV charges, and those explosions can hurt you as easily as they hurt enemies.

Picking the booster up restores part of your shield and cancels the remaining volleys. It is strong in mid-range fights, but dangerous in tight spaces or against fast-moving targets.

The booster starts firing as soon as it lands. Picking it up only restores shield charge and prevents further volleys.

The shock blasts have strong knockback and can stagger enemies. You should also expect frequent self-damage, so shock resistance or mitigation skills help a lot. Rats can even be killed while trying to steal an active booster. It cannot spawn with Bandit or Torgue parts.

Its name references the NATO initialism "WTF" and a joke about "SNAFU." IED stands for improvised explosive device.
