The Elephant Gun is a rare Jakobs sniper rifle from Big Game Hunt. It hits extremely hard but cycles and reloads very slowly, with poor handling and no scope. It performs best at mid range where you can line up critical hits, often dropping weaker targets in one shot. In close quarters, the sluggish fire rate and reload make it awkward to use.

Zer0: Legendary Hunter reload bonuses and One Shot One Kill help counter the slow reload and improve one-hit kills. While in Deception, the crosshair can sit above the barrel; aiming using the muzzle position can throw off shots. Axton: Ready and Pressure speed up reloads, and Metal Storm helps the fire rate. It cannot roll a scope, and cannot take scope-linked accessories (Klook, Skookum, Hyiu).
