The Hulk is always triple barrelled and typically carries a larger magazine than most Torgue shotguns, trading off accuracy, fire rate, and reload speed. Each trigger pull consumes 3 shells and fires 13 explosive pellets. Although its accuracy stat is low, the spread stays fairly tight and the pellets move quickly, giving it unusually strong shotgun range. It hits hard up close and remains reliable at mid to mid-long distances.

With Krieg, the Hulk can proc Blood Overdrive and Blood Bath in the same fight: kills may count as either direct pellet hits or splash damage from the explosive projectiles, letting both skill triggers occur across groups of enemies.
