A Maliwan Seraph pistol built almost entirely around corrosive damage over time rather than direct impact. Its shots explode on impact or after a short flight, which limits its useful range, but against armored targets it can deliver some of the strongest corrosive damage-over-time output available on a pistol.

Its explosions add extra splash damage that is affected by grenade-damage bonuses. If a shot detonates at the end of its flight instead of on impact, the splash radius becomes slightly larger. Certain Siren setups can push its corrosive status chance to 100%, though some of those builds are less broadly useful than a Legendary Siren setup.
