A finely tuned Jakobs pistol with stronger critical-hit performance than most weapons in its class, making it an excellent early-game sidearm for precise shots. It also fires faster projectiles than a typical Jakobs handgun, which helps it feel cleaner and more reliable at range. Its advantage fades later on, but it is unusually strong for the point in the game where it appears.

Older versions could show different critical-hit bonuses on the item card, with one value while dropped by Oney and a lower value after pickup. That display issue has since been corrected.
