A Hyperion pistol built almost entirely around critical hits. Its enormous crit bonus, high accuracy, fast fire rate, and Hyperion's tightening accuracy during sustained fire make it devastating when you can stay on a weak spot, even without aiming down sights. Its low base damage keeps it from carrying ordinary body shots, so it works best as a precision sidearm for tougher targets and Fight For Your Life.

Its reduced base damage and massive crit bonus create an enormous gap between critical and non-critical damage. The bonus is multiplicative, so extra crit boosts add less than you might expect on top of it. During Gunzerking, both guns' crit bonuses apply, letting Salvador stack absurd critical-hit damage with another crit-focused weapon. The bonus can also carry over to some slow projectiles if you swap to it before impact, and it can affect vehicle primary weapons and the Outrunner turret if it is equipped when you enter.
