Its shots arc high and burst on impact, and kills with it sharply accelerate cooldowns, making it especially appealing on builds that want their action skill back as often as possible. Gaige benefits particularly well from the combination of Shock damage and cooldown support.

Rapidly swapping away from the gun and back after emptying the magazine can stack its cooldown effect, allowing extremely fast action-skill recharge after kills. It once appeared as a guaranteed drop from Grendel during a limited-time event, alongside a hotfix that raised its damage and improved the cooldown bonus. Its splash portion does not gain extra damage from grenade damage boosts.
