A Torgue assault rifle that behaves like an upgraded Spitter, pairing a very large magazine with explosive splash, extra-shot potential, and a powerful temporary self-buff. It thrives on builds that stack gun, assault rifle, explosive, and grenade bonuses, and it can snowball into absurd sustained damage once the buff is active. Slow projectile speed is still a weakness, but the sheer volume of explosive fire more than makes up for it in the right setup.

It shares its name with an explosive assault rifle from the first Borderlands. It does not appear in Torgue vending machines, and promoting Warlord Slog to King of Orcs does not increase its drop chance. Grenade damage bonuses raise its damage, while switching weapons restarts the timer that checks for its self-buff.
