The Pistal is a magazine-heavy sidearm with mediocre damage and poor accuracy, so its usefulness depends heavily on the barrel roll. Bandit versions hit harder and feel steadier but lose even more accuracy, Dahl versions cut recoil sharply at the cost of damage, Maliwan versions improve accuracy and elemental output, and Tediore versions stay relatively plain. Weak rolls are easy to skip, but a good one can still work at close to medium range.
