Quad shotguns burn four shells per trigger pull and throw out an enormous pellet cloud in return. They are brutally effective up close, where the spread stops mattering and the burst damage can flatten enemies instantly, but they become very inefficient at range. Their heavy per-shot damage and effectively tiny magazine also make them excellent partners for effects that care about the first or last round fired.
