A Vladof assault rifle built almost entirely around melee play, trading miserable gun damage for an enormous melee bonus. It is one of the best support weapons for melee builds, especially with roid shields, and a slag version remains useful even when you are not relying on the gun for direct damage. The curse only increases melee damage taken while you are holding it, so careful positioning can keep that drawback manageable.

It always spawns with a unique bayonet in the second accessory slot, leaving the first slot free for a normal accessory roll. The standard bayonet cannot appear in the first slot for extra melee bonus. It can roll a Vladof scope, a Torgue scope, or no scope at all.
