A Jakobs sniper rifle built around one defining trait: its shots ignore shields and hit health directly. That gives it a rare niche against shielded enemies and makes it especially useful when a target's shield is the real problem. Its base damage and projectile speed are lower than many comparable rifles, but the shield bypass is powerful enough to define the weapon on its own.

It does not bypass Master Gee's shield. It also does not pierce the ION Loader shield bubble, since that bubble is treated as a barrier rather than a normal shield.
